Guardian of Wonder

Course Description

Friday, April 4th from 6-8pm 100% of sales goes to our Scholarship Fund! Join Artist Kristi Holohan for a fun creature creation 2 hour handbuilding workshop. Each participant will be guided through the creation of an imaginary creature, a so called Guardian of Wonder. This is a great chance to learn some basics of handbuilding, while you play with clay in a fun environment. Students will be lead through simple techniques of pinching, coils, and attaching. Participants will be able to use underglaze if they choose to add additional color embellishments to their pieces. Each participant will receive up to 1.5 pounds of clay. We will glaze + fire your creations and they'll be ready for pick up in 3-6 weeks. Please arrive on time to class! Late arrivals effect the experience of others, and we don't want you missing important info! Max of 12 students per class. BOOKING AS A PAIR? If you are wanting to take the class with someone else, please make sure there is enough space in the class before booking. In checkout, you can book up to 4 people, so make sure the number you are wanting to book is available. If not, there is no space.
