MEMO at Kollektiv!

A MEMO team building activity, wheel throwing edition :) Come learn the art (sport! ;)) of wheel throwing! We'll have the space just for the team from 6pm-9pmish, with the hands on class from 6:30-8:30pm. Depending on how many people attend, you'll either have the chance to be on the wheel for the full 2 hours, or we will switch halfway through so everyone has a chance to try! If you don't want to wheel throw, you can also just have some clay to handbuild with, or simply hangout!

I am holding and dedicating this class to my mom, Julie Johnson, long-time MEMO and dear friend of Marcia. She was killed in a car accident shortly after the SCM Championships in October, 2023 which she swam in with my sister, Jacky. Our mom cherished her MEMO family, and had mentioned wanting to do something like this before passing just a month after the studio opened. She would be so thrilled we are making it happen!

While this is a free class, donations to our Julie Johnson Scholarship Fund are graciously accepted. You can contribute any amount when RSVPing and learn more about the scholarship here. If you want a piece fired and glazed, we ask for a $10 donation/piece to our scholarship fund. This can be done day of, once you decide if you want to keep anything! Your work would then be ready for pickup in 3-6 weeks.

BYOB! MEMO will supply pizza, but feel free to bring your own drink (alcohol ok!)
