SIX WEEK COURSES - SIX WEEK COURSES - For a full refund, minus a $30 processing fee, you must cancel at least 7 days prior to the start date of your class. If less than 7 days, you will receive a 50% refund, minus a $30 processing fee. No refunds given when cancelled within 72 hours of your class start date.
ONE TIME CLASSES - Non-refundable/transferable. Class credit given when notified at least 7 days before your class start time minus a $20 processing fee/person. Credit does not expire.

We know you’re excited to see your finished piece! Work is typically ready 3–6 weeks after your class. Ceramic firing is a careful, time-consuming process, and we wait until our kilns are full before firing to ensure efficiency. You'll receive an email notification as soon as your work is ready for pickup. Thanks so much for your patience!
Generally no due to limited space. However, if we have an spot open for you in another class that same week, we may be able to accommodate. The first and last class are mandatory to attend. Please email hello@kollektivclaystudio.com.
No, our kilns are reserved for our members, students, and staff.
Clay won't stain your clothes, but we still recommend coming in something you don't mind getting a bit muddy :) We have aprons for you! Long hair should be tied back, and short nails are definitely recommended (more so for wheel throwing).
Yes! In fact, we encourage that you do. Feel free to come and practice during our student open studio hours listed in our Studio Guidelines: www.kollektivclaystudio.com/studioguidelines
Occasionally! We currently do not have regularly scheduled kids classes. Our six week courses are open to ages 18+. Ages 15+ are welcome to join our one time classes when accompanied by a guardian. For children younger than that, please get in touch about private classes!
There is metered parking out front on Piedmont Ave, and a metered public parking lot at the CVS down the street. There's also unmetered residential parking around too.
There are bike racks two doors down from us in front of Cato's Ale House.
We do not allow guests at this time. We want Kollektiv to be a distraction-free space for our students and members to create.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to have any pets in our space :(
