Course Description

Sunday, May 11th 11am - 2pm We welcome young daughters in their 20s and 30s grieving the loss of their mother in this class on what is an extra hard day for us - Mother's Day. This is a time for us to remember, honor, and talk about our mom's together in a safe and inviting space. Come enjoy the therapy clay and community provides as we explore simple handbuilding clay techniques. We'll offer inspiration and ideas for your projects, but feel free to come with your own in mind. To make class even more special, we’ll enjoy a high tea experience, complete with tea sandwiches and baked goods from Julie’s Coffee & Tea Garden in Alameda, and, of course, a variety of teas! This class is sliding scale, with a discounted class cost, actual class cost, and a pay it forward option (contributing to our scholarship fund, aiding in giving access to others.) Limited scholarships are available for this class. If you are in need of financial assistance, please email us: hello@kollektivclaystudio.com
